Ok so I have had a few previous partners before my current boyfriend. We just began having for the first time a few of days ago and it has been quite uncomfortable. What can I do now about the cracks in my joint compound?

I'm drywalling...I applied the joint compound too thickly and I still need more coats. The problem is that the old drywall expanded over time and the new pieces that I had to put in wouln't fit flush with the old. So what now? Do I wait for it to fully dry, then sand it, then just add my remaining layers of joint compound in thin coats? Should I put more tape up first?

Plz help! Question about anemia & hemoglobin count...?

I am a 44 year old female and live in Canada. A year ago I had a hysterectomy and my hemoglobin levels dropped way down to 76. My stomach was unable to tolerate iron supplements so it's been a slow process trying to build my levels back up. About 10 or 12 weeks ago I had my hemoglobin checked and it was up to 112, but I when I had it checked again last week it had dropped to 105. Is this a cause for concern? I don't know how significant of a drop that is but considering I no longer get a period, and I haven't had anything else happen to make me lose blood I can't understand why it would drop. I am so sick of being tired all the time and just wonder if this is something I should get checked out or if it's just a normal fluctuation....

I don't know if the taste is normal or not as I have never had my tongue pierced, but the fact that it is bleeding and that you are feeling pain, may indicate the start of an infection. See your doctor asap. I will just ask one question, why do young, pretty girls get their tongues pierced? It does nothing for them except make them lisp and make their toungues look too big for their mouths!! My daugter had this done a few years back and thankfully finally got it removed.

Best case would be a cracked/damaged oil pan/plug. Worse case would be a cracked block, but most likely the pan. You can purchase a new pan, gasket, and plug for relatively cheap on eBay. You can swap the old one and the new one in in probably an hour or less (including putting new oil and filter in).

My Samsung Glyde is horrible. At first it was great and i have NEVER dropped it so there is not a scratch on it. The touch screen messes up almost every ten minutes and if i press menu it will press a whole nother thing by itself and then i end up on things like the internet (which is NOT free) or the VZ navigator. The touch screen doesnt press the right ons and if i were to press send on the touch screen after using the keyboard it will ppress options and REFUSE to press send so i have to shut off my entire phone. And also when i am typing fast as usual it will switch lines like if i had three lines and typing it will skip up to the first line and continue typing. Do you experience this too

Why do people say get plenty of rest when you feel like your getting sick?

Whenever I do this, like when I have a cold. The day before when the cold is coming on and I feel all the drainage in my mouth, when I go to sleep and wake up the next morning not beeing able to taste or smell things and I sound like Ive been holding my nose the entire night. I did an experiment a few weeks ago when I felt like I was getting a cold. I stayed up the whole entire night and just drank orange juice and I kept my head forward to try and keep the drainage from going into my mouth constantly, and the cold went away. It seems like when you sleep, you let the drainage just take over so when you wake up, you have the cold, I don't know how it works, but it pretty much ONLY takes effect when you sleep. What do you think?

I hold the philosophy that there are two different types of s in the world. Those that are born that way, and those that choose to act that way. I believe the latter is influenced heavily by society and more times than not is just a phase and they grow out of it. I do not hold any judgement towards either, but I am open minded enough to respect the opinions of others, and could see the standpoint of Christians that think uality is a sin. But how can it be a sin if you're born that way? I believe some children are just born that way, and it's not their fault. I have in-laws that have children, some gay, some not. No difference in the way that they were raised, their actions are just totally opposite the norm from the moment they began walking and talking. How could people possibly judge them for that? I believe that they are born with an extra "Y" here or few less there, etc...Some people are born with the personality and feelings of a female, but the body of a male. It could be attributed to a chemical imbalance. No different than someone being born with 9 toes, instead of 10. Kids born with extra appendages, etc...I'm not saying that children born are freaks of nature...please don't misinterpret what I'm trying to say. Help me make my case, I don’t want my ex bring our son 380 miles away 24 times a year?

My ex moved about 380 miles away and established a new family (2 kids) already. He didn’t come to see our son for over a yr and didn’t pay child support. So I brought him to court. Because of money involved, he wanted 50% our son. The mediator, however recommended him visiting our son 2 wkds a month in my city; when our son reached an “appropriate”, he could bring our son to his city during his time with our son. In court order, he is allowed to bring our son to his city at age 4, that will be in about a week. During the time he is visiting in my city, he has been involved in our son’s swimming cles, art cles (many more were planned when he was born), which I think the best interest of our son. The down sides of him bringing our son to his city 24 times a yr are: 1. Our son’s weekend cles will stop; 2. traveling 7 hrs per day in a 2 day wkd 24 times a yr is too much for the little life; 3. my ex will actually spend lesser time with our son because much traveling. I think a once a month or every other month on long wkds or holidays is reasonable. Earlier today, I answered a question about a possible link between four composers, including Mozart and Dohnanyi. I hazarded a guess that it might be the use of the nursery rhyme known in English as 'Twinkle twinkle, little star. Mozart wrote a set of piano variations on 'Ah vous-dirai je maman' which is that tune (less, one note, I believe). Dohnanyi used it as the basis for his 'Variations on a Nursery Theme'. Which brings me to the meat of this question. The Hungarian composer plays a joke with his listeners by having a very serious sounding introduction which lasts quite a while before eventually introducing his theme, the aforementioned nursery rhyme, the tune of which he uses for a witty set of variations. Hearing the work for the first time, the theme comes as a surprise after the build up of the introduction - on second and subsequent hearings the joke, if that is what was intended, falls totally flat as the hearer knows the punch line (as it were) ('Stop me if you've heard this one' - well, yes we have, Ernst). So the question is this, Can a composer be genuinely funny in 'absolute' music (using that term so as to exclude comic opera where other factors come into play), so that we laugh or smile on every hearing, or is it always going to be the case, as in the Variations, that once heard the joke falls flat?

What is wrong with my PS2 memory card? How do I reformat it?

One day I decided to play Guitar Hero Aerosmith. I put the game in, started the system and I think I took my memory card out when it says 'CHECKING MEMORY CARD: DO NOT REMOVE'. Idk what I was thinking. But anyways, whenever I try to play a game, or save something, I get the message 'Error occured: The memory card has been either removed or replaced'. Something along those lines. When I go to brower, an click on the memory card, it tells me that there is no data on the card. Then when I go to save a file, I get that message but it senses the memory card. It will show up as a place to save when I put it in each slot, and it says 'STATUS VALID' on the side. So it's not corrupt. I want to try and reformat it without buying anything, but from what I hear, you can do it in system configuration by clicking one 'MEMORY CARD SETTINGS' or something like that. But I do not see anything like that in System Configuration. And since there is apparently no data on the memory card, I can't do anything by going to the memory card in browser. I heard you could reformat the card there also. The game I play is Madden 11, but the card doesn't work on any other of my games either. I really need some help here! Thanks!

OK, i am 13 years old i have been riding and working at a barn these past few years and i got a horse named misty back last winter. What I would do is limit the research to what you're actually going to need to know. If one of your characters is a genius and you need something super smart for him to say, grab the Republic and have him quote a line or have him muse about Einstein's theory of relativity without going into detail. Your audience should only have to know that which is essential. If you bog them down with too much it can become boring and preachy. Character details are great but in the end, the question you need to ask yourself is this: Does it serve the story? If not than its filler.

In the southern part of the Okanagan Valley, in B.C. in Canada, which is just slightly north of the only desert in Canada, they have a town ordinance that to have a gr lawn you must first put plastic & then your soil on top of that. Then there is water rationing where you are only able to water your lawn every second day. On each street the even house numbers have one day & the odd numbers on the next day. Watering more than this brings a fine. Everybody uses plastic & they all have green lawns & only use water every second day. It works just fine. If your main reason for joining is to prove yourself as a man, then join the Marines. I have a friend who joined the Army to prove the same thing. He regrets not joining the Marines. The Marines have more training and are usually more disciplined. Yes it is scary, everyone is scared and nervous before they go, it's human nature. It sounds like if you don't do it then you will go the rest of your life regretting it. Join the Marines and you will become a confident, proud man for the rest of your days.

I'm watching Saving Planet Earth on BBC1 (UK) and seeing what is happening to these poor creatures is heartbreaking not to mention seeing the beautiful rainforest being bulldozed to make way for palm tree plantations. Why can't something be done about finding an alternative to palm oil instead of just raising money to fund homes for these homeless wild animals. Why should we allow this to happen? It always good to dream but it's just a dream. You say that your not a great musician and you don't feel melodies running in your head. May be you could find something related to music and follow through with it. Most rock stars wind up on drugs and eventually die. Unexplained l bleeding?

I take the oral contraceptive pill levlen Ed. I had recently finished my months worth of active pills and got my period... A few days before I stopped taking the active pills I had some very very slight l bleeding. I thought this was cause my body just really wanted a period... My period came as usual two days after I stopped taking the active pills but the cramps I had were really intense for me ( I'm 28 and have been menstruating since I was13) I normally wouldn't be concerned about that but since I have been back on the active pills for the last week I didn't expect a pinkish colour in my discharge this morning.. I don't think there's such things as aliens, but it's very possible that there could be aliens out there, i mean, scientists found traces of water on mars, that's a definite sign that of life there, maybe not now, but a long time ago maybe. But there are no green aliens out there that are gonna be smart enough to build a ufo and abduct people and stuff like that. They would probably just be little slimy single-cell things, or probably another plant that lives on another planet. Back Yard and Dirt Driveway Mud Pile?

Every winter my back yard stays wet and muddy and my entire drive way (dirt) becomes a sheet of ice and severly muddy with the thaw. If I pave the driveway it will be a skating rink. I would say that this was a fluke. Unless the movie takes 2 disks to watch. Most of the time you have to rent bonus features separately. And things like T.V. Shows come one disk at a time.

I definitely feel the same way, but he really loves his finger foods so I do offer them quite a lot but I watch him like a hawk and sometimes I am totally on edge if he looks like he is putting too much in his mouth or something! I guess maybe just making sure you know what to do in the event of choking (although it sounds like you probably already do) may help put your mind at rest. Other than that get used to worrying because I worry about EVERYTHING too and I think there will be alot more of that as they grow up LOL! x
