OK... do we all see what's going on here with the stimulus bill?

I've thought about this too. The bill has been described as a "wish list". Well, we all know what that is. It is intentionally full of things that we know we aren't going to get anyway. So, if they put a bunch of pork in it, knowing that they were willing to cut it, then they look like the good guys while still getting everything that they originally wanted in the first place.
