How many trees are in a rainforest? (averagely)?

If you do a search for [rain forest "trees per hectare"] you'll find answers like "423-859", 375, 610, and 1300 mature trees per hectare (100 x 100 meters) of undisturbed rain forest. The cool thing is that there are about as many species of trees per hectare (between 100-365), so that the average species only occurs two or three times in a hectare.
