Going through a red light?

Was traveling bellow 70 mph safely on a dual carrige way with a few cars 5 - 10 m behind me, lights went to amber i checked my mirror to check if it was safe to stop, and i made a judgement that it was to unsafe to to stop at the lights from 70mph with cars so close to me, as i would have had to perform an emergency stop and caused a big accident, im worried about what to expect next, thanks
