Unexplained l bleeding?

I take the oral contraceptive pill levlen Ed. I had recently finished my months worth of active pills and got my period... A few days before I stopped taking the active pills I had some very very slight l bleeding. I thought this was cause my body just really wanted a period... My period came as usual two days after I stopped taking the active pills but the cramps I had were really intense for me ( I'm 28 and have been menstruating since I was13) I normally wouldn't be concerned about that but since I have been back on the active pills for the last week I didn't expect a pinkish colour in my discharge this morning.. Also sometimes when I cough ( not always) I get sharp stabbing pains either side of my hip bones towards my umbilicus, at first I thought I'd pulled a muscle or something but with the bleeding idk??? Does anyone have any ideas?? I take levlen ed
