MUSIC FILE CONVERTER?

you see, i'm trying to upload music on myspace, and it doesn't work. apparently it was too large and it was a WAV file. then i compressed it and it never processed. So i downloaded a converter and made a mp3. it uploaded fine. but about half the song was cut off... help? by the way "myspace.com/acousticskin" it IS original.
