What do I do?

I asked a girl out a week ago, and she said she wanted to hang out more first and see what happens. I have called her a couple times and we talk for hours. She flirts with me constantly, and one night after I hung up so we could sleep, she txted me saying "im kinda starting to like you". However, yesterday, she sent me a message saying I dont want to stop talking to you, but I dont think I can handle all the crap people will give me and have been giving me. It just makes things complicated." She was referring to mutual family friends. My dad is a fireman, so we often hang out with all of the other families from the fire department, and her family is friends with the firemen we are friends with. Once her dad found out I asked her out and that she was beginning to like me, her dad has been giving her a hard time and joking around, and a lot of the other firemen ask her things like "do you like him?" and "when are you two going out."
