In what area of Chicago should I book my hotel to be close to these places?

Whoa I have no idea why people are saying to stay on the Mag Mile. Thats wayyy expensive. I work in one of those stores you're wanting to go to hah thats funny, but yeah stay somewhere north of Michigan Ave. I.E. Lincoln Park, Lakeview. If you say somewhere on Clark St you can take the 22 or the 36 bus to any of the places downtown for 2 bucks a peice. So thats not so bad. Also you can get weekend public trans pes for like 12 dollars if you're going to be going around a lot. Its worth it. You can buy them at any Dominicks or Currency Exchange, And if you stay in Lakeview there is a currency exchange pretty much on the corner of Clark and Belmont.
